Code of Good Management Practice and HMO Licensing
All our student houses are licensed through the official scheme awarded by Bristol City Council called the West of England Code of Good Management Practice. The UWE Houses team is also accredited with the National Landlord Association. This assures our tenants that they been trained and are current in rented sector legislation and compliance. This gives you and your parents peace of mind.
As far as UWE Houses is concerned, we aim for the very highest standard in all our houses. Standards laid down by fire, police and Gas Safe (was Corgi) agencies are regularly inspected. A current certificate is kept inside the front door of each house.
