PAY YOUR ONE-OFF holding deposit
Once you have viewed a house and decided that you definitely want to live in it (but not before) you need to secure your application by paying a £50.00 holding deposit per person.
This £50.00 payment, together with your completed application forms, reserves a room for you; on receipt of this fee and forms we will not show anyone else around the room that you have reserved. This £50 is refundable upon completion of all paperwork within our specified time frame. This fee is also fully refundable within 24 hours of receipt if you should change your mind or for any other reason. After the specified period it is not refundable. If a tenant decides not to proceed with the tenancy after deciding to rent a house, it will be fully refunded within 24 hours of payment if requested.
PAY YOUR DEPOSIT
Tenancy deposit: This is £300 per Occupant. We will protect your deposit with ‘My Deposits’ and it is refundable (less recorded deductions) at the end of the contract.
Should you leave mid-term, rent remains liable until such time as a replacement is found and the total deposit of £300 will be retained by the Landlord to cover the administration costs of arranging a replacement.
Your Deposit is fully refundable at the end of the contract, less any deductions as outlined in the contract. In the case where the tenant requests that they are replaced by another tenant, either before the start of the contract, or during the contract, the deposit will not be fully refunded, to cover the cost of re-letting the room.
PAY YOUR RENT
Here you can pay your rent. But only do this if you don't have a standing order set up, otherwise you may end up paying twice.
Make sure you have chosen the correct property and room number, otherwise you will end up paying somebody else's rent for them!
If an over payment is made this will be refunded as soon as adminstratively possible.
PAY FOR ANYTHING ELSE
Use this for any other payment but make sure you choose the correct property and room number and let us know what the payment is for.
Refunds will be made as necessary, but will usually incur a £10 administration fee.
Refunds will always be done by BACS so the account name, sort code and account number must be supplied by the person requesting the refund in order to receive it.
