All of our bedrooms are supplied fully furnished, most with modern furniture from Ikea.
Some bedrooms even come with en-suite bathroom facilities; however, these are in high demand and there is an additional premium to pay.
A typical bedroom will have the following features:
- Comfy double bed often with drawers underneath for extra storage (usually 4ft wide, depending on room size)
- Storage for all your clothes (wardrobe and chest of drawers)
- Desk and chair for your studies
- Shelving for your books
- Bedside table for all your bits, space permitting
- Three or more double sockets so you can have your devices plugged in
- Curtains and/or blinds to keep the light out - usually blackout curtains to help you sleep if you are on nights
- Large notice board to hang your notes and pictures so your room can feel really personal and individual to you
Additional extras (items you won’t need to bring):
- Mirror
- Network cable, if you prefer a fixed internet connection
- TV connection point
- Mattress protector (we provide waterproof ones)
Items you will need to bring:
- Bedding, such as a duvet, duvet covers and pillows
- Desk lamp, if you want additional lighting when studying
- Anything else to make your room feel homely!
Due to the large numbers of students under our management, we are unable to remove furniture from the rooms. This is because we have limited storage space in our office and our maintenance team are busy keeping all our houses in good condition.
